I am a highly involved high school senior who works hard to balance my academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth both at school and in my community. At school, I am a dedicated member of the marching band, where I dance and have developed important skills such as discipline, teamwork, and time management through regular rehearsals and performances.
Outside of school, I work part-time, an experience that has strengthened my work ethic, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage professional expectations while keeping up with my academic workload. I also take dance classes and am a former gymnast, experiences that have taught me perseverance, physical discipline, and creative expression, while allowing me to stay connected to community-based programs and performance spaces. Together, these experiences have helped shape my long-term goals.
I plan to pursue a degree in architecture from a prestigious HBCU like Hampton University, Howard University, or Tuskegee University, all of which I have applied to. Through my education and experiences, I hope to continue developing both my technical skills and leadership abilities so I can make a meaningful impact in my field and the communities I serve.
